Heel 2 Heal offers a variety of training programs to accommodate your lifestyle, schedule and budget. We specialize in private sessions tailored to meet the needs of your family. Our holistic approach means we take many factors into consideration when assessing and working with your dog, we look for the reasons behind the behavior and work with the "whole dog", to achieve the results desired. We may address issues such as diet, health, and exercise based on your dog's needs.
Lorraine is internationally known for her work helping dogs overcome all kinds of behavior challenges who then go on to live happy well-balanced lives. Lorraine's focus on the mind-body-spirit connection allows her to assist dogs who are overcoming emotional issues such as anxiety, fears or past traumas and allow them to become well-balanced, confident, happy dogs.
Through our private one on one counseling and training sessions our goal is to assist you achieve a happy, healthy, well-balanced relationship with your dog. The Heel 2 Heal Approach to training makes learning easy for both dog and owner, and quickly achieves remarkable results. All programs include complimentary testing for The American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen exam.

The basic program covers the essentials of good dog manners and is best suited for those owners who are able to invest more of their own time in their dog's training program. We will focus on your handling skills, and teaching your dog the foundations needed to become a good canine citizen. Your dog will learn how to walk nicely on a loose leash, sit, down, stay and come when called. Problem solving will also be covered.
The Deluxe Program - 7 One on One Sessions
Dogs and owners who need a little more will benefit from this 7 session program. We cover what is included in the Basic Program plus teach your dog to: go to your room, leave it, drop it, socialization skills, problem solving and special attention paid to dog and owner interaction. If you have more challenging issues with your dog, or if your dog suffers from fears and anxiety this may be the program for you.
Heel 2 Heal Boarding School
If you have a busy lifestyle and do not have the required time to invest, we understand. Our boarding school is a great option for you. For two weeks your dog lives with Lorraine learning all that is covered in the deluxe program plus much more. Your dog will not be living in a kennel environment, but spending plenty of time learning one on one with Lorraine ~ she can often be seen at City Place in WPB socializing her students ~, living in a home environment and being introduced to various social environments and situations.
Our rehabilitation programs are designed to restore balance, as well as add structure, consistency and training to your dog's daily life. These elements combined lead to happy dogs and happy owners.Rehabilitation deals with dogs that have deeper issues (maybe from past trauma or abuse) that prevents them from living happy well-balanced lives, and in many cases cause their owners much despair and anxiety. All of our boarding school programs include two follow-up sessions and your dog receives 2 complimentary massages while here.
The Perfect Puppy Program
This program is designed to help you raise a happy, healthy and well-balanced pup from day one! In our sessions we will address a variety of issues including; where your pup should sleep, potty training, feeding, puppy manners, play and socialization. You will gain the tools and knowledge you will need to teach your pup the basic commands through clear communication and leadership.
The Perfect Puppy Package ~ This package includes an initial session of 1 1/2 - 2 hours scheduled within the first fews days of bringing your pup home (the sooner the better), then four weekly follow-up sessions (1 hour each) to ensure that your first few weeks with your pup go smoothly. Potty training, diet and feeding, sleeping arrangements, routine and play will be covered.
Perfect Puppy Intro Session ~ The same as the initial session for the Perfect Puppy Package without the follow up sessions. We will cover as much as we can in this 2 hour session.
Potty Training Camp ~ Having trouble with potty training? Puppies older than 8 weeks can attend our Potty Training Camp to help you through this challenging time. This is a 7-10 day program where we teach you pup to go potty outside, or on a pad if you choose. She will also be learning early socialization skills and manners.
Problem Solving Consultation
This is a 2 hour session designed for owners who are quite happy with their dog's behavior other than one or two specific concerns such as barking, or jumping or running out of open doors. Many owners find the two hour session beneficial when bringing a new dog home to join the family, or for preparing the dog for a new baby arriving ~ this can be quite an adjustment for some dogs!
